The formulation of the Hasanuddin University Hospital's vision was carried out as part of a strategic effort to define the institution's long-term direction and goals, aligning with the role of UNHAS Hospital as a teaching hospital that supports the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi). This process was implemented participatively, involving various stakeholders, including university leadership, hospital management, medical staff, academics, and service users. This approach was adopted to ensure that the formulated vision accurately represents the aspirations, potential, and challenges faced by the hospital within local, national, and global contexts.
